Who's Next 2.0: Modern Retreat
We are currently registered in FreeGreen's: Who's Next 2.0 design competition and have selected the profile of "Modern Retreat". The profile calls for the design of a "modern" lakeside home for Robert and Julia, an eclectic older couple. Julia is an artist, Robert is an english professor and they are both lovers of the arts and nature. The design parameters call for an affordable 1600sq.ft. space that accomodates both of their needs.
Our submission as it stands now seeks to resolve their spatial and programmatic requirements with a clean and minimal design:
